Mr. Michael Pruedhomme is a citizen of the French commonwealth and is 43 years old. He was diagnosed with spinal cord injury in 2016. He was paralyzed waist downwards and did not have any sensation in his legs. Every simple task was painful and he could not sit or do anything else without the pain. On a friend’s advice he decided to come to BLK hospital in India.

His journey was for 16 hours and it was very uncomfortable and painful for him. However, after the surgery done by Dr. Kansal Michael says that all the discomfort and pain suffered during the journey to India was worth it because he is feeling much better now. The surgery was spinal chord decompression. Also fragments of bone that were left in the body were removed. After the surgery he could sit up again and the sensations in his lower limbs have started to come back.

According to the doctor’s prognosis the sensations in his body will come back with time and he will be able to lead an almost normal life. Michael is full of praise for Dr. Kansal and also the other staff of the hospital. He says that the staff from the cleaning staff up to the manager is great and they have a very positive and helping attitude. He says that sometimes you can come across a language problem, but the hospital has staff who will readily translate for you. He is very thankful to the staff of BLK hospital and looking forward to life without pain. He recommends BLK hospital to anyone who requires treatment for any major health problem.
